Just curious as I went through a dungeon with one and he sat right next to me as I tanked and was getting clobbered. I'd turn the mob and he'd come back up front. I haven't leveled one and have read the tool tips and don't see it, but thought I'd ask.

As said above, SAM loose 5 kenki on their two 3-skill-long-chain finishers, which change their Kenki generation from 50 over 8 skills to 40 if they stand in front, or 45 if they just stand in back or flank withouth moving At least one of the two positionnal will hit right. Some tryhard sam take physical dmg on purpose so their defensive skill triggers a genki skill which consumes less of the gauge than the one without the trigger, its a very small potency increase. They can do it every 15s, they gain like 18potency or something.

Only 2? Kinda miss when you had to do positionals to proc combos. Page 1 of 2 1 2 Last Jump to page:. Version 1. Kulinarische Kreationen Der 3.

Of course you can always burn perfect balance and spam rockbreaker, but then your opener is most likely screwed on the next boss. Arm of the destroyer is also there btw Samurai's single target beats Monk and Ninja's single target assuming equal skill, with Monk and Ninja being about equal. Monk has great AOE that isn't subject to dropoff, so there's likely a point where it exceeds Samurai in AOE if a pull is massive enough, it's other main benefit is how sustainable it's AOE rotation is, as Monk has two TP recovery skills allowing for Almost indefinite Rockbreaker usage compared to Samurai which runs dry fairly quickly in my own experience.

I don't know enough about Ninja AOE to say more than "it has a frog now". Trust me. Originally Posted by SuperNoob. Ninja AoE is probably the best out of any of any of the melee jobs.

Single target dps is also amazing and once the best in slot gear is released, we'll have an understanding of which dps is performing the best during raids because having our main stats is half of it. Depends on the dungeon, fight, raid, whatever. I usually out damage a fellow Sam, but that just may be be on my ish.

Just flip a coin for nin and Sam. They're all very pretty DPS. Overall, it just hits like a truck and its rotation is very simple and easy to manage.

As for positionals SAM only have two but if you don't get it right you don't lose any damage. You just don't gain a slight extra amount of Kenki Page 1 of 2 1 2 Last Jump to page:. Version 1. Kulinarische Kreationen Der 3. Privacy Policy. MAC is a trademark of Apple Inc.
